@RSN333: I don´t want to say that I disagree your point, but you can´t compare MTB to a sport that has revenues of billions a year.
In any case, organizers should cover this kind of accident whith the earnings after expenses. If this it´s not enough, then riders should consider what level of risk do they incorporate into their runs.
