Field Test: 2025 Devinci Troy - No Hidden Suprises
I used to be a Devinci pusher for sure. Had an older aluminum spartan that was bomb proof and then upgraded to a carbon spartan a few years later. The carbon spartan had all kinds of linkage issues, and I know I wasn't the only one as I spoke to a few other spartan owners. Very disappointing as both my wife and I had a number of Devinci's.
Because of my main pivot issues I went through drivetrains premature, snapped chains, and had to change the bearings every 3 months. They did sent me a new pivot linkage in warranty, however it had the same problem. Maybe it was an issue with their distributor, however the linkage was made from aluminum. Hope they have worked out their issues and are building quality bikes. Maybe I will give them another chance in the future, but at the moment I am having too much fun with my current bike.

Pinkbike Poll: Is Nature Part Of The Appeal Of Mountain Biking?
Personally, I love the climb before the decent to take everything in. Of course climbing isn't easy, but it clears my mind. I feel like some of that is lost when shuttling or when people are just trying to beat strava times etc.
