Marzocchi is Dead, Long Live Marzocchi
Well....... these indeed are grim news for everyone, all Marzocchis' personnel that I had the honor to meet are amazing and had the true meaning of the company running through their veins; still it seems that now a days the only Italian company that can be run on enthusiasm is Ferrari, others are just seen as leftovers from a previous glory. Anyways Marzocchi was the brand that took me through my glory years and had ever left my heart as a true performer in the bicycle industry. Up to this moment, I am willing to sell my soul to the devil as long as Marzocchi is saved and kept as a household name for durability and performance. So far, I have been blessed with 30 Marzocchi forks which I still have the privilege to ride them on my bikes; this represents more than 12 years of history. Never the less this hideous news break my heart into pieces that will be sold and just let forgotten in the darkest corner of our sheds, man caves, vintage FR bikes, memories and souls. Long live the Z1!!!!!!!

Marzocchi - Ask Us Anything
Thanks for the props guys, I strongly believe that behind my craziness there's just a bit of sanity, Thanks @pabloinsane, saludos amigo. Well I am still missing a couple forks in my collection such a RAC, 1997 Z1, 1st gen SuperT, 1st and 2ng gen Mrt, a Supermonster, 2003 SuperT, 3th gen 66, 2004- 2005 888 RC; and maybe getting another Shiver SC won't hurt.

That's right! Always rigidity was a big concern with Inverted forks. You guys are one of the biggest names in the business; you can do it!

I guess that will depend on its structural design.

Sorry, my mistake, I ment: I guess because many modern DJ/slope frames are now Tapered, maybe that's why the 55 slope was kept as a tapered.
