Yeah, a few of the early Voltages cracked at the top of the seat tube, it's important to keep several inches inserted below the join with the top tube.

Seatpost? To be honest I can't remember - I know that I had to cut a little bit off the end. As it is in the photo, it could be lowered by another inch or so. If in doubt get the long one and chop some off :-)

These came in the box with the bike - however I actually sourced a second set after accidentally stripping a thread. I rang Scott UK and they didn't have any, however they directed me towards a bike shop that did. Best of luck finding some!

Thanks for the feedback :) What was it about the Demo that made you stick with it rather than the Makulu? Is the Demo more "playful" (shorter chainstays and less sag I assume...)? Cheers :)

I'm also very interested to hear any feedback on the Makulu vs Demo. I'm weighing up a Demo, Makulu or V10 Carbon. I've only ridden a Makulu, and loved it, and how easily it jumped for a DH bike, as well as how plush it was. The bike I tried was a medium though, and I'm 6foot2, so feedback on sizing would also be very useful :-) Cheers!
