Specialized P-Slope

$2100 USD
Putting this ad out there to see what the interest in this bike is like. This has been hands-down the best slopestyle bike I've ever ridden. I'm looking to switch to a hardtail DJ build sometime in the near future since I just got a trail bike, so I'm seeing what the interest for this bike is like on the market right now. Feel free to message me with any questions about the specs, use, etc. COMPONENTS Fox 831 (100mm travel) Renthal Fatbar (aluminum, 760mm wide), stem is Renthal as well, Santa Cruz grips NS rims & hubs (front and rear) Bontrager G-Zeros (2.4" wide, front and rear) Shimano Zee brake lever, XT caliper (relatively new pads) Shimano Zee cranks Chromag Liason saddle Odyssey pedals (can ship with/without) Rockshox Monarch (brand new bushings, 2 rides on them) "ISSUES" The bike as a whole feels extremely dialed to ride and mechanically is nearly 100% sound. However, there are a few cosmetic blemishes, mainly on the frame. There is 1 half-inch long scratch on the top tube, but apart from that the front triangle is unscratched. The right crankarm has a large worn spot in it that is visible in pictures. The rear triangle has a myriad of scratches and cosmetic wear on it, none of which are visible unless seen from up close. Performance-wise, this bike is owned by a bike shop employee and has been well maintained. As of now, the only mechanical issue is that the bottom bracket needs replacement. It was creaking badly for a while, so I pulled the cranks and the bearings and regreased everything. The creaking got better, but the drive-side bearing feels rough when spun by hand and could use a replacement. This would run around $20-40. The only other issue I could see affecting performance is the worn tread on the rear tire. It's not 100% bare, but could definitely use a replacement in the future, I just haven't replaced it since Bontrager only makes the g-zeros in 2.2" now, so you can't get 2.4" g-zeros anymore. A new rear tire would run around $70 depending on tire choice. The rear DU bushing on the shock was very worn up until a week ago when I replaced the shock bushings, now, there is no play and the whole bike feels incredibly stable and dialed. Definitely the most fun bike I have ridden in a while. FINAL WORD If you're looking for a super dope slope bike to ride any sort of dirt jumps on, this is the bike for you. This bike feels the closest to a hardtail in terms of maneuverability of any slope bike I have ever ridden, and there's something about the linkage where it feels even more boosty than a hardtail. The best way to describe this bike in my opinion is that it feels like a hardtail on the takeoff, and a slope bike on the landing. I might be willing to discuss bike-related trades if you have a dialed DJ hardtail, so shoot me a message and we can get in contact. Thanks!

Field Test: Trek Remedy 9.9
20 pairs of grips at $35 a piece translates to $700. Not $700 per pair. Also, $700 for a wheelset isn't terribly expensive either compared to some of the other options out there.
