friction/overall force and feel will be almost identical, or at least quite similar.
I see the main difference/main advantage for 4-caliper design and bigger pads in long demanding descents
Guide RE is the Code caliper paired with Guide lever.

Sure, most don't really present their mechanics transparently, but still:

And so on.
