Chiara Teocchi Launches GoFundMe After XC World Cup Crash Leaves Her in Wheelchair
Man, cycling. On one side of the coin, you have total professionalism with things like diet, training kit and branding, and on the other side of you have an amateur sport that isn't set up to support the lifecycle of their riders. If any Rider is riding in the pro ranks, of course they should have an insurance policy provided to them by the team that semi funded by the UCI the event brands and sponsorship brands (and probably parts funded by the rider themselves) to ensure that if they have time off they can get paid and if they are left in devastating position of not been able to walk again that they have an income.

Everyone's Favorite Topics: E-Bikes, Wheel Sizes, & Slopestyle
I would really prefer that the bike industry refines their product cycle inefficiencies to lower the cost of bikes rather then bring new wheel sizes out lol.

Canyon’s Lux Era Concept Explores 32" Wheels and Aerodynamics for Marathon XC
I'd much rather see the cycling industry address their inefficient production processes to lower bike prices than spend time developing marginal innovations like 32" wheels that offer only a 1% increase in rolling resistance under specific conditions.

Cannondale Factory in Netherlands To Close In 2027 With Expected Loss Of 120 Jobs
Side point; I have a 2026 Scalpel.... I have been trying to find a "capable cross country" bike for nearly 10 years and they nailed it. Fair play. This all said, capitalism is such a bitch.
