Video: Transition Announces Carbon Patrol Coming This Fall
Not all GX builds are equal. I don't know all the specs from other brands, but I got an aluminum Patrol for my wife and it has basically top end suspension, great brakes, and GX stuff. It isn't cheap, but Transition generally puts money where it is most noticed.

Ibis RipMo Top End Build AXS Reserve Carbon Wheels

$5900 USD
I'm selling my Ripmo, I can't justify it in the garage anymore. I haven't ridden it too much as I have overlap in my bikes, I've got longer travel and shorter travel, and while this is the perfect single do it all bike, I'm lucky enough to have lots of other options. I'm firm on the price, but not dead set no movement. I am also willing to sell just the frame and fork, as these wheels will also fit on my shorter travel bike and be the 'burly set' if I want. So basically, I'm open to someone that wants the whole bike. That's $5900. This would retail around $10K, so I feel $5900 is very fair for the current time and the excellent condition. I'm willing to sell the bike without the wheels. I think $4600 is very fair for that. AXS components and carbon frame and upgraded fork, that also seems like a very fair amount. If you want the frame and fork only, then I'm open to that. At around $4500 retail for frame, shock, fork and upgrades I think $2300 is very, very fair for that. Here are the details for all of it. Size medium Ibis Ripmo carbon frame, upgraded MRP Hazzard coil rear shock Fox 36 Factory kashima fork with external MRP ramp control for suppleness and bottom out resistance Reserve Carbon 30mm wheels with Chris King hubs (These wheels are so good with a lifetime warranty that is the reason I would keep them and sell the bike without wheels) Code RSC brakes with 200mm rotors Shifter/Derailleur: SRAM AXS Eagle 12 speed wireless Cassette: SRAM XX1 Eagle 10-50 tooth Cranks: SRAM XX1 carbon Seatpost: Fox Factory kashima 150mm Bar: Ibis carbon Stem: Race Face 50mm Seat: Spank Tires: Maxxis Assegai That's the bike, it is top of the line everything, and in perfect working condition. There are a few scratches, it was ridden, but not much. Please look at the downtube photo which gives an idea of the care taken of the bike in an area that is usually hidden from view and a little beat up. It isn't super clean, there is some dust here and there. No smoke and mirrors here, you can see it in person, ride it around, and make sure it is up to snuff. Message me when you would like to meet up. I am usually available after normal work hours.

Review: TRP's New TR12 Shifter and Derailleur
No, it won't happen. People aren't willing to invest in a company (like TRP here) that is just behind the 8 ball so to speak. That lack of funding will further hamper development dollars. No small company will come out with better refinement or manufacturing than Shimano or SRAM. There would have to be an actual change in the process, or how shifting is done. It isn't too bad, it is consumer choice. If everyone wanted competition, then they would buy from the small guy and raise them up, with performance sacrifices. But, that's not what happens. You buy the stuff you think works the best, right now.

First Look: Kenda Releases New 26" Slalom and Park Tires
Maxxis, Michelin, Specialized: We are pushing product development mostly in 27.5 and 29er applications. Nobody buys good stuff for 26" tires anymore. Kenda: Hold my beer.

Transition TR11 Size Small New Parts and Fresh Service

$2800 USD
I'm selling my wife's DH bike, it was new last year, and I just put some new parts and service on it, so it is ready for a new home. Why am I selling it? Because I bought my wife a new trail bike, she rides that way more, and I don't want stuff sitting around not being used. Here are the details, feel free to ask any questions. Frame: 2019 Transition TR11 size small, 350, 400, 450 pound spring rates available. Fork: Fox 40 Factory with Kashima coating. Converted to spring (light weight spring for 130-150 pound rider) for ultimate small bump sensitivity. Just serviced. Sale includes a spare Grip damper Wheels: ENVE M90 wheels built on DT Swiss 240 hubs. The wheels are scratched, and have some chips in them. They are still light, strong and nice though. Brakes: Brand new, never used Shimano XT 4 piston brakes. Truly never used. Photos included of new packaging. 180 rear/200mm front rotor Shifter: Brand new, never used Shimano XT 11 speed. Derailleur: Shimano XT Cassette: Shimano 105 11 speed road cassette, 11-27. The cassette pictured is an 11-28, the 11-27 is included in the sale. Cranks: New Gravity Crankset and BB, 165mm length, 36 tooth ring. Chainguide: New Gamut P30, including extra bashguard. Bar: Burgtec RideWide Stem: New Gamut Cillos DH, adjustable for 45, 50, 55mm length Seatpost: Truvativ Saddle: ANVL Pedals: No pedals included. I'd much, much, much rather sell this locally and have someone see it and ride it, and do this that way, if that happens, I'll of course put pedals on it for you to try it out. The photo of the fork service is from April 7th, the brakes went on April 8th, and new shifter/cranks/BB and chainguide April 8th as well. This is a high end bike that will be great for anyone that fits it. Speaking of size, my wife is 5'6", 135 pounds or so. It is sprung and sized for her, but should be good for anyone looking for a DH bike under 5'7". Regarding the fork, it is in the most supple (coil) form you can get, which is what my wife wanted. If you want it to be air, you can get an air spring assembly and put it in, and then you're good to go. I just don't have that. But you do get the extra Grip damper, so that's a big plus. The wheels look beat up. They are beat up. But they are still good, and work well. If you are concerned with the viability of carbon rims, you can just cut out the hubs, which are a $600 value on their own and build aluminum rims on them. I'm selling this bike which would retail for around the $9K mark for below $3K because I think that is what is fair, and worth it for the whole package. If the wheels were in better condition I'd be way more inclined to sell this for $3500 to $4K. So please, no lowball offers, I'm in no rush to sell. Thank you.

Transition Patrol Carbon Medium Top Of The Line

$3600 USD
I'm selling my Transition Patrol. The bike is awesome, and exactly what you need in times like these. This 2019 OnCoil model won't lose air out the rear shock like some, and is ready to party. Or escape. Here are the details: Frame: Size medium 2019 Patrol, EXCELLENT condition. I've had clear wrap on the downtube when I put the bike in my truck and there are no issues or wear through the thin plastic I put there. The shock is the top of the line Fox Factory DHX2 with a 425 spring, which can obviously be changed. In my opinion the 425 spring is perfect for riders between 150 and 170 pounds depending on personal preference. Fork: New Marzocchi Bomber Z1. Essentially new, two rides on it. Wheels: New Specialized Roval Carbon (never registered, you would be the first owner). Two rides on these wheels as well. Perfectly true, perfectly tensioned. Brakes: Magura MT7 Pro disk brakes with reach and pad contact adjustments. 180mm rotor rear, 200mm rotor front. Drivetrain: SRAM XO1 Eagle. This includes the super expensive cassette, the light one that is 10-50 tooth, not the cheaper, heavier pinned cassette on most bikes below $5K. The XO1 Eagle 12 speed group is the full shifter, derailleur, cassette. Cranks: SRAM XO carbon, 170mm, 34 tooth ring. Tires: 2.6 Specialized Butcher BLCK DMND (equivalent to Maxxis DD) casing front, 2.3 Specialized Eliminator BLCK DMND casing rear Seatpost: RockShox Reverb Stealth, 150mm drop, with under bar lever, not the push button older style actuator. Bar: Diety 760mm Stem: Chromag Ranger 31mm length The bad: The seatpost has a little 'squish' to it. Could probably use a bleed. The good: Literally everything else. The wheels are perfect, the suspension is new and perfect, the frame is immaculate and the drivetrain is top notch. This bike is right around 31 pounds with strong, light stuff, a super high end build. Ready for a new home. I did not register the frame or wheels yet, so if you did that you'd be the first registered owner. A big perk to this bike and not having to switch anything up.
