Unno Bikes - Exclusive Interview
This is the type of manufacturing we need to get back to. Years ago a person made a large purchase and that item would last for years and years, that company would employ people who made a decent working wage. Now everything we have is junk and made to last a couple of years at most, or its not "in style" anymore so we replace it, and the people who make this junk are being taken advntage of. Its far more environmentally sustainable to make less bikes that last alot longer. Greed and boredom have got us to the point of replacing items far earlier then they should realistically need to be. The bike industry is a great example of this. A current $5000 bike will be "obsolete" in 3 years. Whether its a great bike or not. This is the main reason why i wont buy a new bike. I built my last bike out of the pb classifieds and its old but still a more capable bike then i am a rider, and i know im not alone.

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Days Did You Ride In 2015?
Probably about 20 actual mtn bike rides. Working 50hrs a week, 2 kids to look after, dogs to walk and a hobby farm to rebuild and maintain takes time. I rode alot when i was younger (10k kilos in one year was my best) but these days i only climb on the bike to get in the woods and get some exercise. Maybe this year ill have more opportunity to get out and ride but its a balance as most find out later in life

Now THAT Was a Bike: 1993 Klein Adroit
Ive actually ridden some of the same trails that i rode 20+ years ago on bikes just like this. I got down those trails just fine back then as i do today. In fact i did 6ft drops, rode shore style trails, raced cross country as well as competed in trials all on my 1993 kona cinder cone. All my friends did the same. Skinny bars, long stem and rim brakes. Bikes are definitely better now but they didnt suck back then either

Ask Pinkbike: Downsizing Wheels, Choosing a Front Tire, and Buying a Used Bike
After running a HD up front all season i decided to try the MM and its head and shoulders better! I now run the HD in the back and i cant ask for anymore traction. I dont care if its a heavy/slow rolling setup, i dont get out riding much so its more about how much fun i have when i do

First Look: Race Face Turbine / Easton Haven Dropper Post
So easton licences a currently available dropper post design, takes the manufacturing to asia using cheaper material to build them, which in turn the post now doesnt function for more then a few hours, and the price suddenly rises $90?
