Specialized Is Trying to Make E-Bike Overlanding a Thing
I have an older Levo and the reality is youll get ~6 hours on eco pedalling it like you would a normal bike with very little assistance. We've all thought of this but the reason nobody has done it before after all these years is because bikepacking on an ebike is a completely unrealistic scenario.
Even if the new Levo lasts a few hours longer that's still not enough for a full day in the lowest power mode, so what is the point of a multi-day rig?

Editors' Picks: Our Top Clipless MTB Shoes for 2026
mine are slammed back because I can't buy a properly fitting shoe due to the toe box and width being too small, so I have to size up which puts the cleat plate too far forward. It's really difficult finding a brand that goes far enough back in a size that actually fits.

DT Swiss Revamps 1700 Series Wheels With Anti-Pedal Kickback Hubs and New Rims
I don't notice it at all on my i9 hubs but when I switch to a low engagement wheelset it is definitely there and its annoying with all the clanking and sudden stiffening of the suspension.

Review: After 13 Years Shimano’s Saint Brakes Are Still on Top for Outright Power
Out of all the Shimano products I've had only the pedals proved reliable and problem free. The 12spd shifters were junk and had a high failure rate, the derailer clutches don't last very long before you have to grease them every month, the cassettes creak, I had Saint's with leaky pistons which made the stopping power not much better than a trail brake, and every single brake has had wandering bite point.
The difference between Shimano and SRAM is that when SRAM screws up they actually fix it relatively quickly, Shimano just keeps the same flaw for multiple product cycles and pretends like nothing is wrong.

Spotted: Next-Gen RockShox Super Deluxe Shock
I bet Specialized owns the Genie design and they are just sourcing Rockshox for one as well. Trek did the same with ReAktiv, started out on Fox then went to Rockshox. I doubt this will be available on non-Specialized bikes.
