@oldfut: Same here. I remember thinking, briefly, I'd be better off swapping them out for my clipless road pedals but those shoes had no tread. As they say, young and dumb.

Mountain Bikes From the Past 7 Years That We'd Still Happily Ride
Is anyone else surprised to not see the '22-'23 Rocky Mountain Element on this list? It has a Goldilocks persona, nearly XC weight/traction for climbing, trail bike geo for the DH, dead simple Ride4 geo adjust offering a truly perceptible range, and a rear suspension arguably better than the current flexstay version.

@mikekazimer: Onza clipless pedals, the ones with the elastomer in them. I think those were designed, or at least funded, by dentists and orthopedic surgeons.

This thing seems like a trail builders dream rig. Bolt on a chainsaw scabbard, fuel/oil bottle holders on the fork, etc, and into the forest you go. Rig up a small utility trailer when you want to haul in supplies.

I'm curious about that too. Checking the provisional start lists shows all the Canadians are on sponsored teams (none by RMB) and very few privateers.
