Course Preview: Smooth Sailing - Albstadt World Cup XC 2019
Mountain Bike Racing by definition requires 2 sets of skills, fitness and bike handling, only the first will be tested on this tame course. If this was a downhill track, overly groomed, the riders would boycott it and band together.... Sadly most XC riders aren't those kind of people and only politely mumble about the course on social media.

Video: Sam Hill Finishes 5th at EWS Madeira 2019
If Maes can return for selected wc DH races, why doesn't he. If you are still on the money fitness wise a but of good old downhill could help focus the mental aspect and focus. Not much time difference between riders in both disciplines, so really the mental aspect that makes the difference. That controlled wild passion to win

Anton Cooper Criticizes Albstadt World Cup Course for Lack of Technicality
Reminds me why I vowed never to ride a xc race again, and yet... The wc in Stellenbosch South Africa last year had me thinking xc was finally catching on. Super technical when youre tired and tons of fun. Setting courses that suit ex roadie wanna bees is so lame. Get out youre gravel bike instead, on a course like this its likely to be faster. UCI needs to catch a drift of where our sport is heading and what riders and spectators want. Guys like Nino are great bike handlers!!!

Final Results: Maribor DH World Cup 2019
Looking at the womens qualifying splits, How did Tracy Hannah pull out the fastest time in the last split, both Seagrave and Atherton were well green for the rest of the run, either super strong or new how to conserve her energy. Good to see some tough competition in the ladies field

Podcast: Rachel Atherton - What It Takes to Win
Does anyone else find Rachel Atherton really irritating? Great rider, but sore looser and I hope Seagrave gives her a real challenge this year and Vali next year.

Confirmed: Cannondale's New Downhill Bike Has 2 Shocks
I just want to see Ratboy race this thing at world cups again. When Josh was on fire nobody could touch him and DH is a little to serious without the Rat around.' Just need to find a female rider with Missy's attitude as well and Cannondale can have a dreamteam...
