Well done Tracey, very deserved win. Anyone pick up that Vali Holl time was 3 seconds quicker than Weatherly. Next few years of women's Dh is going to be really close

Qualifying Start Lists - Leogang DH World Cup 2019
Sure Greg Minnaar has never been more grateful to have a P next to his name. Where the Masters brothers though. Scribd works on my phone but still sucks

I'm not normally one to weigh in on these issues but as a South African we are very aware because of Casta Semenya. Difference is she's forced not to compete unless she takes drugs to reduce her testosterone levels to the required rate. I think a simple biological definition of a woman would be the presence of a womb indicating to possibility of conception. Lowered hormone levels do not make a man into a woman. I have no with to offend but biology is biology.

I still have no clue how this start list works, Minnaar and Shaw in their qualifying positions so how far does actual qualifying count before the protected story kicks in.Sure going to be interesting with Loic probably on the hot seat for a long long time, even he Will get tired of drinking RB

Solid safe quali for Minnaar in 9th, bet you he can now relax and push for win number 8 tomorrow. Gee said it takes bravery to win here, some say take your brain out, Minnar results say it all. This is the track that bit him and put him out for almost a year. Time to go Mmmmiiiinnnnnaaaarrrrr!!!!!!

Practice: Some Scottish Weather - Fort William DH World Cup 2019
Its amazing how little riders in the B Practice get no exposure, no interviews or cameras on them This includes the likes of Minnaar and Shaw this year, might inspire some folk to fight for the riders who arent in the top 60, but often ride for the love of riding. Still holding thumbs for Minnaar, survive qualifying then aim at the podium, no press pressure thats for sure

Aaron Gwin Comments on Injured Ankle, Broken Cranks, & More
I tried to like Gwin, honestly. As a South African I'm alway behind Greg Minnaar first, but Gwin's pro ethic and the fact that he also proudly declares he is a Christian as well is admirable. But, whining over a stupid crank, then getting all defensive over it is the total opposite and smells like spoilt brat prima donna sports star attitude.... would rather support an honest beer drinking or weed smoking rider anyday! Just ride your bike! But good like with the ankle and my sympathies to your mechanic, going to be a long year!

Course Preview: Smooth Sailing - Albstadt World Cup XC 2019
Mountain Bike Racing by definition requires 2 sets of skills, fitness and bike handling, only the first will be tested on this tame course. If this was a downhill track, overly groomed, the riders would boycott it and band together.... Sadly most XC riders aren't those kind of people and only politely mumble about the course on social media.
