May 23, 2023Shimano XC7 43 light use
$150 CAD2022 Shimano XC7s in size 43 regular width.
Lightly used. Only used these for spinning on-road in dry conditions and for a few CX races in fall 2022. They never saw off road trail training use and only saw water a few times rinsing off after the CX race. Not a regular shoe.
Been fixing old body imbalances and feet did crazy things in last 12 months. These fit me perfect when my arches strenghtened and tried a few times in 2023 and now too short. They were put away in cupboard for the winter until recently. New in June 2022.
I've replaced with the same shoe in size 44 and snapped some side by side length shots if you're interested.
Cleats not included.
Ships from Vancouver BC to Canada or Lower 48

Canadian Enduro Championships Back For 2023 & Coming to Crankworx Whistler
Why don't a group of you band together and put forward a small claim against the old corporation who own the series? It's all online in BC and doesn't take a ton of time and all online. You'd mostly need to gather (old online) evidence that cash prizes were promised. I believe the old corporation was BC Enduro Series Inc. That is legally who your beef is with. Ted et. al acquired the assets (not the shares of BC Enduro Series Inc.) to form the new Canadian Enduro League. https://civilresolutionbc.ca/

A Mountain Biker's Guide to Cyclocross
Lots of mountain bikers don't get Cross. For me, I've realized I really like underbiking on a gravel bike especially being time crunched. No more driving to the trailhead to MTB and raging in traffic as you're waiting to start your endorphin release. Ride from home wherever. If you enjoy underbiking, but also enjoy racing, then you'll 100% enjoy cross. Here's my covid underbiking project in case anyone interested. A Mountain Biker's Guide to Cyclocross
Nice write up Eric. Also the Cascade Cross series does an amazing job of keeping cross like should be: fun, friendly a bit stupid and a ton of fun.
FYI - I'm a mountain biker who was super into Enduro from like 2013-2019 and now super into cross. You never know till you try it!

Review: Leatt 7.0 HydraDri Waterproof Flat Pedal Shoes
Looks like a great take. The zipper closure needs a long term review for sure. Heard this is always the long term issue with similar closure-design clipped winter shoes. Take a look at Fizik and Scott MTB heater shoes reviews on zippers. Otherwise a zipper or flap like on the shimano MW5 or MW7 (clipped shoes) is absolutely key for the soggy winter. I'm on my second pair of Shimano MW5s in Vancouver commuting almost every day in soggy winter and training for sloppy wet cyclocross in them. The Flap is key to keep mud and loam out of laces. I do like the zip here though. IMO Boa closures have no place on an aggressive mountain biking shoe as it takes one crash or one snag on a trailside log to blow the Boa off. That is why I go for the MW5s instead of the MW7. My two cents.

Details Announced for The Back Forty 2023
I'll never forget bonking incredibly in the inagural back 40, crashing on that mega-off camber rock in the wet no-flow-zone and lying on the ground with horrible leg cramps as soon as i hit the ground. Who know the stage was another 30 minutes from the top of Howler LOL?
