Results: Shimano Supercup Massi La Nucía

The results are in from the Shimano Supercup Massi in La Nucía, Spain with Pauline Ferrand Prevot and Tom Pidcock taking the Elite wins.

Pauline Ferrand Prevot took a strong early season win as she finished the Elite Women's race 45 seconds ahead of Ghost Factory Racing's Nicole Koller. Savilia Blunk crossed the line in third with more Ghost Factory riders filling out the fourth and fifth-place positions. For the Elite men it was another great result for the Ineos Grenadiers as Tom Pidcock led Sam Gaze by just over 25 seconds. David Valero Serrano was another 20 seconds off the winning pace with Sebastian Fini Carstensen the only other rider within one minute of the 2023 World Champ.

 I watch the men's race while on the trainer. God it was crap footage. Totally missed Pidcock's attack. Greatly reduced me will to live LOL!

 I tried watching it. I don't mind the commentary being bad, as English was not their native language. But the footage - it all seems to be from a drone high up. So basically no useful footage. Sadly there doesn't seem to be a budget for filming it to a high standard.

 Yeah I appreciate second language . . .but still they managed to miss the action.

 I'm afraid, outside the World Cups, there isn't the money for 'proper' coverage of these events - so this is what we have to put up with. It is what it is, and I'm not sure what else they can do. At least they provide some live coverage - a lot of series can't even manage that.

And we wonder why sponsors/ money are coming into MTB racing......

 Watched it live on YouTube . . . If you thought Warner Bros was bad . . .this is amazingly bad footage and commentry . . .they must have put a potato in charge.
