Stan's Introduces New Polar Drip Wax Chain Lube
"the aqueous emulsion immediately carries amphiphilic molecules deep into the chain’s rollers and pins, where they electrostatically attract to steel and compete for surface area on the metal itself; the water evaporates; and those polar molecules cure into a solid wax film chemically bonded and mechanically interlocked to the chain’s surface." - as an ex-Metallurgical Engineer, this is lot of fancy words for "the wet stuff dries and tries to stick to metal". don't be fooled, people. it's a lube that rubs off just like all the others. Maybe it's better but you still have to clean and lube your chain if you want the drivetrain to be quiet. OR do nothing and replace the chain more often. I quit lubing chains in 2020. I take off the chain after every ride. Dip it in the candle wax pre-melted in the mini CrockPot. Pull it out and put it back on the bike. That's a very effective system that costs very little.

Moots & White Industries Release $1,350 Titanium Crankset
I really enjoy seeing very expensive parts being offered. It doesn't matter how much money I have because I'm a value-shopper. I still won't buy them. I do, however, encourage people to make and sell this stuff. It's great. It's like that 1987 SRAM grouppo for 3500. Totally not a good value but it sure looks nice and makes for a good conversation if I see a set in person. The only problem i see here is compatibility. Standards will change and the darn things are worthless. Watch, the 32er will change the bottom-bracket area and they'll have to make a new standard.

For 220lb riders or more? What..... 1,000 pound riders? Give me a limit.
