Moots & White Industries Release $1,350 Titanium Crankset
I really enjoy seeing very expensive parts being offered. It doesn't matter how much money I have because I'm a value-shopper. I still won't buy them.
I do, however, encourage people to make and sell this stuff. It's great. It's like that 1987 SRAM grouppo for 3500. Totally not a good value but it sure looks nice and makes for a good conversation if I see a set in person.
The only problem i see here is compatibility. Standards will change and the darn things are worthless. Watch, the 32er will change the bottom-bracket area and they'll have to make a new standard.
