First Ride: Fox's New 38 Fork - Pond Beaver 2020
I really want to see the diagram of the channel for the additional oil flow to the uppers and where it opens up in the fork. Grip/Grip 2 has a port for expelling air from the non sealed damper and wondered where that air went over time. If you have ridden these Grip forks long enough, you will know they hit a point where when they need service the fork gets harsh. I bet this helps expel that small build up over time to keep the fork running smoother longer. Pretty slick idea and better implemented then the design on the older 40 forks.

Fox Announces New FIT4 Fork Damper & Roller Bearing Kit for Shocks
As a lighter rider Fit 4 high speed compression has been my issue. I don't see a mention of a change to high speed unless the range of low speed has been adjusted that high speed is affected as well. Anything but wide open is very harsh with high speed compression for us lightweights with Fit 4. Other than a bit less mid-stroke support the basic Grip damper has been lights out better then Fit4 even without the ability to fine tune the settings.

Review: 1 Year on Cane Creek's Ultra-Light Titanium eeWings Cranks
I grabbed a set on a sweet deal. It's not about anything beyond a bitching set of cranks because you can. The last time I checked value of MTB anything sucked so live free and customize the shit out of your bikes dudes.

Interview: The Athertons - "If People Want Gee’s Fort William Race Bike, We Can Make it for Them"
If I look at these 3D castings I can see a longer lower Iron horse Sunday DW Link layout with the seat tube upper linkage mount in the right corner next to the box in the photo. I loved my Sunday, My favorite race bike and I a big fan of the DW link and how its evolved. I still hold out for Ibis to make a DH bike based around my Ripmo design. Very cool they are doing this. Bravo to them for taking the next step.

Pinkbike Awards: Suspension Product of the Year Winner
The suck down has been across a few years and occurs on the Fox 40 as well. It's a blob of grease that gets stuck during assembly causing the negative travel to increase pulling down the overall travel. Happens much more if you are running a lower PSI for a lighter rider which happened to me. You can service it yourself with a simple tear down of the air spring. My fork went back as it came straight from the factory this way but since then, it's been figured out to be a rather simple fix if you have the ability to dive into the fork a bit (no pun intended). The Grip damper though in either form Grip/Grip2 is a pretty awesome setup.
