How To Take Your Kids Mountain Biking Without Ruining the Fun
Skip the fancy tow strap and just use a 14’-16’ length of paracord. Works amazing and you can easily pack it into any pocket. Tons of uses in an emergency too. Oh, and always and I mean always remember to bring toilet paper :)

Interesting. What would the reach roughly be on the S3?

First Ride: The Fox 38 Gets a New Chassis, Damper, and Air Spring
@onemanarmy: I tune my suspension just fine. The fact is Fox suspension feels good for the first hour or two after a rebuild and then go right back to feeling meh. Every 36 and 38 I've owned has had major stiction in the bushings. Always serviced by Fox Canada yet they somehow feel that this is acceptable performance. You can't tune it out without spending more money. Go ride the latest Ohlins or Rock Shox if you want to feel what smooth out of the box actually is. And listen, I have spent a ton of money on Fox suspension and I've given and wanted it to work well for several seasons. Compared to the competition they just don't. Don't even get me started on their shocks. Ohlins and RS are set and forget and the performance is super consistent and plush. I'm not randomly hating on Fox. My testing and hard earned dollars over 4 seasons of using their suspension has proven to me that Fox seriously needs to improve vs. the competition.

@Bad-Mechanic: Charger 3 is a massive improvement over any Grip2. Set and forget, super reliable, and doesn’t feel like a jackhammer over chatter. Take away the gold stanchions and orange stickers and Fox wouldn’t be nearly as popular.

Agreed. Fox Factory suspension is mediocre at best.

Agreed. After owning 36’s, 38’s, several X2 shocks (all failed), a DHX2, I have never understood the hype behind Fox suspension. Each one has had issues. I’m done with Fox products.

@PhoS: It’s really not. Compared to the competition Fox suspension is mediocre at best.
