First Ride: All-New Saracen Myst
@noah-shreds: Well my point of view, not saying i’m right but modern MTB’s just hardly go outdated in terms of geo and stuff over the few couple of years, they do go down in terms of price though. I mean i own 4k€ enduro bike, and honestly can’t imagine buying new every 2-3 years, also that’s not my only bike. But i see this bikes with small limited frame warranty as something i would never buy 2nd hand. For ex. i live in small country and our MTB community altough big is acutally quite small, and advantage of it is that if some1 sells the bike that has like 5-6+ years frame warranty or even lifetime warranty, you can always stay in touch with original owner in case you ever gonna need him ti file warranty claim, because mostly you bought that bike/frame from friend of a friend, and people are always happy to help in that type of conditions. But when you live in such a big country like yourself i bet its quite harder, because in USA you guys ship 2nd hand bikes across the country, and here in my country people don’t even look at used bikes with experied warranty, Myst at least on their web has 2 yrs of frame warranty. I don’t personaly plan to change my Enduro bike for at least 3-4 yrs, i own it for 2 currently. So this kind of thing is just not acceptable for id say probably most of us casual riders, over the years considering spare parts, swaps, maintenance it just costs too much to change bikes every 2-3 years. Not to mention you gonna sell it for 50% of the original price at the if not less, because this type of bike i assume people skip due to experied warranty, unless it’s quite cheap, they don’t care and just want something to ride maybe 1-2x times a week, until they buy decent bike. So yeah i don’t think there is need for 90% of us casual riders to change bikes every 2-3 years because the difference between modern MTB’s are so little that only pro riders can notice. And im not talking about gearbox, stuff, etc. But linkage changes, geo, seat angle, ht angle, etc… My two friends recentlly got Propain Tyee and compared to my enduro bike it does feels bit different, but overall fells just as amazing, as my own bike. Im just not used to it, would i notice and difference after a while ? Probably, but it’s still modern geo/speced enduro bike like the one i own. Would i notice difference between my bike and some in upcoming years, id say i would. But that doesn’t ill buy the new bike, would afford, etc… For us casual riders the difference between modern bikes are too small, and not so noticable for us to swap bikes every 2-3 years. Thats why we want some inssurence for cashing out 5-10k€ for a bike, i dont want 2 yrs warranty for that type of money. But hey that’s just me i guess. P.s. i love Jekyll hope it serves you well.

Looks dope, but i see more and more DH bikes getting only 2-3 yrs warranty on frame, and thats just unacceptable for me as consumer. Sadly

First Look: Ghost's Lightweight Riot Path eMTB & Riot AM
I have Riot EFP 2021, and beside bike being heavy 17kg's with pedals, it performs quite well on decends. I can't really say anything bad about it., it's fast, great in corners, formula suspension is truly amazing, and cura4 brakes stopping power is just insane, currently at least in my country is 2250 euros for cash on discount.
