the bend is for strength and lightening when the tube goes straight into the heatube you dont need a gusset. xc cockpit ? dont know who your friend is but i can tell you he hasnt rode my bike. the 23 is effective the actual tt is 22 . the bike is soooo sick i . havent weighed it yet but its 26ish with no lightweight parts will post weight when sea slotter madness is over.anyone thats skeptical come take it for a spin i promise you will be smiling. schredd on

thanks. ya im riding for fezzari 2010 sick bikes comin out keep a eye out . ther rock shock dart jamie at the bike shop painted them there sick
