What the Heck is a Down-Country Bike? - Opinion
We can totally relate @mikelevy! We’ve been referring to this category for over 10 years at EB! Lol Some people got it, some didn’t. We’ve even got reference to it up on some old photos in the shop! It’s a great category but prob only makes sense to seasoned riders. DB@EB

Shimano AM7 Shoes - Review
I’ve been testing and wearing these for 1 year. The fit is great, improved toebox shape feels really good. Lighter than current AM9 and breathes better. Durability is solid. No issues. I wish all my shoes had the little neoprene debris guard, it’s a great little addition. They look way cooler than you think, when on a rider. The design will grow on you (and others). These have become my go-to clipin shoe, nice balance of fit, comfort, functionality and style. I hope the input is helpful. DB@EB

Endless Biking has lots of options too, including privates & customs available any day. Not all camps are women’s only or men’s only, there are some good co-ed options that are really popular and have been highly effective programs. Check it out if you into it. www.endlessbiking.com DB@EB

Altitude A50

$3100 CAD
Are you looking to get on the newest Altitude from Rocky Mountain but aren't able to pay full retail for a brand new one? This is the next best thing! Here at Endless biking, our rental bikes get stripped of their OEM components so that we can represent our sponsors by putting their components on. Then when April/May comes around, we take our sponsors components off, completely replace the pivots and service the suspension (again!), then put all the brand new OEM components back on! So you get a slightly used frame (completely wrapped in clear 3m tape) with rebuilt suspension and brand new components at a used bike cost! Come down and check the bike out! The bike is ready to go to a good home this week! Build is as follows: Frame: 2018 Rocky Mountain Altitude Fork: 2018 Fox 36 Float EVOL Performance 160mm Shock: 2018 Fox Float DPS EVOL Performance Brakes: Shimano SLX Drivetrain: Shimano XT Derailleur/cassette with SLX Shifter Cranks: Raceface Aeffect Cinch w/32T Chainring Wheels: Sun Duroc 30 Rims on Shimano SLX Hubs wrapped in Maxxis Minion DHF, and DHR II Seatpost: Fox Transfer 150mm Complete List is avaiable at http://www.bikes.com/en/bikes/altitude/2018?tid=72 under Altitude A50. ***Bike comes with build kit listed above. Ultra-Short Stems, Kids' Seats For Getting Rad, a DHX2 Remote Lockout Kit, and More - Tech Briefing, January 2018
@onemind123: ... that's a fair point. I'm not sure there was intention to have a product still need some development, sometimes one discovers some things as we go but I'm only guessing here. My early prototype, that I was willing to test, is still going strong, so maybe you just got a dud? I know of some other Kickstarter ones that work ok too... I'm glad you at least got refunded. DB@EB

@onemind123: sounds like you may have had a pre-production prototype? They just released the production version this year and it’s tight! I have both and the difference is remarkable! DB@EB

@speedyjonzalas: me too! We’ve had ours for 3 years and we still use them regularly! An awesome way to accelerate the riding/learning for the little ones. DB@EB

Ultra-Short Stems, Kids' Seats For Getting Rad, a DHX2 Remote Lockout Kit, and More - Tech Briefing, January 2018
The Mac Ride is awesome. We have 2 of them and we use them daily, mountain, city, whatever. Pick and choose your spots, of course, it’s not something to go shredding with. We often use it to get little ones to cool spots and then they can ride on their own or just to feel the wind, see the sights and experience the giggles that go along with riding.... with their natural riding position, it really does help them figure out how to ride and more importantly, why.
