Ari Releases Updated Cascade Peak Aluminum Trail Bike
I think these are nice. I'd skip the comp spec wise but the other two seem like good bikes to start on or upgrade into as a rider gets more into it. These and the more expensive ibis ripmo af line seem like great values.

Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
Both here too. I have an old classic cannondale prophet that I converted to 27.5 (modern drivetrain suspension etc) So I use spacers and a riser in an attempt change up the geo and all that.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
I had centerlock rotors. They were ok until the lock ring would slowly get loose over time. I tightened them down to spec and it would happen again. 6 bolt rotors take longer to mount and swap but I've had no issues with bolts coming loose.

Add to that how about a suspension design that doesn't require mach stupid to feel great. In PA it's rock soup and root salad for miles so it's mostly lower speed hits.
Not every longer travel bike has to automatically be a down biased geo specific enduro machine.

Pinkbike Poll: Metric vs Imperial - Which Do You Prefer For Measuring Bikes?
25.4mm to an inch. There done. I'd rather use metric. It's a pain to convert between. It's not hard to change to a base10 system. It makes more sense.

SRAM Releases New Bronze-Tier Brakes
I'll stick to my shigura xt/mt5 setup. It works great and no toxic/caustic mess because I'm a total clutz... so that's nice.
