I still ride an 05 Prophet. I modernized it with a 27.5 conversion, 1x, fox 36 modern fork etc. I'd replace it with a new bike if could afford one but it rides fine.

Matt Jones’ MAVRIX MTB Video Game Now Available in Early Access
Early access can go a few ways. If they do it anything like Larian did with Baldur's Gate 3 then it'll be a lot of solid updates based on community feedback. They did early access right. I bought in a while before the full game released and I don't regret it. (Hey? Nerds ride too!)

Field Test: 2025 Transition Sentinel - Adaptable for All Terrain
I'm not sure about the 12 spd XT derailleurs but my old and thoroughly thrashed 11 spd XT derailleur works great shifting under load etc. I've replaced the pulleys a few times but that's it.

Pinbike Poll: Are You Running the Bar & Stem That Originally Came on Your Bike?
I just swapped out an older carbon bar for a much heavier aluminum one. The carbon was starting to look...bad. same measurements though. Does that count? Full custom frame up build otherwise. So technically I just changed out the one it sort of came with.

What Exactly Is "Outdated" Mountain Bike Geometry?
I'm on a modernized 2005 Cannondale Prophet. (27.5 conv, 1x11, 150mm fork etc) It's what I could afford 8 yrs ago and I love tinkering. The head angle is about 67° with the bigger fork but geo is definitely short. I'm on the right size but I do wish the reach was longer. It's 2005 so yeah. It does work well for the flatter more tech trails in PA, USA though. The geo numbers are way different than today but the smaller frame does give me more maneuverability for the rock soup and root salad we have here. So that's a tradeoff.
That said. I'd replace it with a Canfield Tilt in a heart beat and hang the frame on the wall. I ride what I've got and that's better than nothing for sure.

Ari Releases Updated Cascade Peak Aluminum Trail Bike
I think these are nice. I'd skip the comp spec wise but the other two seem like good bikes to start on or upgrade into as a rider gets more into it. These and the more expensive ibis ripmo af line seem like great values.

Both here too. I have an old classic cannondale prophet that I converted to 27.5 (modern drivetrain suspension etc) So I use spacers and a riser in an attempt change up the geo and all that.
