Video: The Team Behind Martin Maes' EWS Win in Whistler
@michodb: This is really impressive... To be such a beast just by training on 4-minute hills.

@lost99: I know Noga in person, and all the trails we used to have in IL. They really tame if you compare them to real mountains. I guess what really bumped her level is trying to get as much time in the French Alps as possible.

I'm kind of interested, where do Martin and Aneke spend most of their riding time? Something tells me that they don't really live in the flat Belgium/Holland...

Video: The Working Man's World Series - Episode 1
The only thing that makes me sad about all the privateer racing, is understanding that though it means so much to you but in the end of the day it's simple consumerism. Don't get me wrong, I'm also on this hook. But racers are good to manufactures and not so good neither to environment nor to their families. People that race don't save on new parts, especially tyres. They spend a lot of fuel to get to the racing venue and their dear ones have to deal with blood, pain, hospital visits and mental fatigue. And this makes me sad, to understand that those goals you may set in your life are not that honourable. Despite everything said above, you learn a lot when you train and race: finding your limits, proper relaxation, dealing with the pressure and time management. No surprise that a lot of universities are glad to accept ex sportsmen students. And the simple truth of life, you are happy when you suffer because it's the suffering you choose yourself :-)

I think those kids didn't know they need to ask for your permission to ride or to buy bikes. You should write your contact details, so people could ask for your advice whether to choose a hobby or not.

Steep stuff! BTW, why wouldn't you follow Cathro steps and upload videos in 60 fps?

Video: The Perfect Day in Morzine
@milanboez: I agree with you, Chatel is way better and the unofficial trail from Supermorzine to the village is pure steep enduro fun. But all Supermorzine and Avoriaz is like done with one boring template. But one thing I have learned for sure, not to stay at the village itself. The food is expensive, not much veggies and drunk parties all the night.

Is it just me, or Morzine is overrated? Trails ruined with braking bumps, almost no healthy food and happy drunk British that won't let you fall asleep until 3 am?
