Alt / Alt Introduces New Inexpensive Suspension Bearing Press
@AltAlt: Can't see any issue with it, like yeah they're not as resistant to corrosion as stainless, but seeing this tool will spend the majority of it's life either in the box it came in or a toolbox it's not going to be too much of an issue, and rather that the tool becoming stuck in a frame! I was thinking you could just swap the nuts to keep costs and waste down, but dissimilar metals could end up with galvanic corrosion happening if the end user left them assembled in storage etc PS I'll flick you a stunning example of galling through on instagram

Alt / Alt Introduces New Inexpensive Suspension Bearing Press
hey @AltAlt: design engineer here with a bit of experience with stainless fasteners in various industries. They are all good until they're not, and then they are really really not, and need to be cut apart. The main issue that starts galling is excessive heat via excessive friction, say like someone using a rattle gun and spinning nuts down really fast, but can also be caused by a bit of dirt etc in the thread causing heat to start. A bit of anti-seize goes a long way to preventing it, that and the person using the hardware to be attentive (both out of your control I acknowledge) Look forward to seeing when shipping to NZ is available, looks like a great product at a solid price point! Hat's off!

Qualifying Results from the Val di Sole DH World Championships 2021
@Morrrice: umm it says this above: Results from qualifying today do not decide the start order for Sunday's World Champs race, instead, riders will start in UCI order on finals day.

I watched Rob from Zerode 3d print a number of prototype frames with a billy basic FDM printer, just did it in sections and then glued them together, just for trialing looks and fitment etc.
