Mar 24, 2020Cotic BFe Medium 650b - Gen 5
$1200 GBPWelcome to the sale of my BFe,
Firstly, please note, I am happy for buyer to pick up as soon as we have agreed suitable social distancing measures.
This is a brilliant bit of kit really, I've used it mostly for dh stuff as I have another trail bike which I use for pedally stuff. Absolutely solid bike, feels as it should - planted, agile, and super versatile. These bikes just benefit from being good at pretty much everything. Condition-wise, the frame is pretty spot on! Very slight rubbing around the headtube and chainstays where the back of my feet have been, so this is expected. Wheels and tyres running true. I'm selling because I spend more time on my other bike really, I need to get rid of one.
Spec is below:
Frame - Cotic BFe Medium 650B, 12 x 142mm bolt thru and with ISCG05 mounts, and routing for internal or external dropper
Forks - RockShox Pike RCT3 160mm - Super plush, supplied with a couple of tokens
Wheels - Hope Tech Enduro 650B
Hubs - Hope Tech Pro4
Drivetrain - Sram Gx 1x11
Brakes - Sram Avid Guide RS 4 piston, Shimano IceTech rotors
Headset - Hope
Seatpost - I'm using a 27.2mm post with a shim = 31.6mm
Saddle - Nukeproof Horizon
Bars - 780mm Nukeproof Horizon - Brand new
Stem - 35mm Nukeproof
Crankset - Sram with Renthal 30T gold chainring.
Cassette - Sram 42T
Tyres - 2.35 Hans Dampf rear, 2.35 Magic Mary front
I am located in Bristol - will consider meeting buyer a proportion of the distance

Dec 1, 2018Kinesis FF29 MAXLIGHT
$150 GBPKinesis FF29 Maxlight frame for sale in large. I'm bang on 6ft tall and it's a nice fit, plenty of space. I've had this frame for around 4 months and have used it for some long xc rides on Exmoor and Dartmoor aswell as some trail stuff here in Bristol - it's a versatile frame but it's really at home on all day epic rides I'd say. To add to this, it's blisteringly quick when paired with short travel forks and light wheels, a proper rocket ship....when I built it I was surprised at how low the weight came in (I'd guess around 11kg). The usual marks are shown - around the stays and up near the head tube, the underside of the downtube has always had the thick helitape on it so nothing there, and tabs are up near the headtube to protect from cable rub. Ill chuck in that nice RaceFace XY seat post aswell, also the integrated headset bearings and race for the forks. Reason for sale - I plan on giving steel a go :D Ideally, buyer collects and cash on collection
Cheers
Fin
