Knolly Warden XL - Dawn Patrol + X2

$2700 USD
The Warden is an incredibly playful bike that constantly inspires and enables me to experiment with new and playful lines on the trail. Remarkably, it does this whilst retaining an incredible depth of travel to back me up when those playful lines get exciting. This is enhanced greatly by the FOX X2 mounted on the rear, which is a tremendous shock. This is the most impressive bike I've ever owned and my next bike will most certainly be a Knolly based on my experience with the Warden. So why am I selling it, your asking? A.) I'm 6'3'' and I'm pushing the upper limits of reach requirements with this bike. The 2017 Knolly Warden is middling on the size spectrum with a reach of around 475mm for this XL. I need to be riding something with a reach at or exceeding 500mm to be comfortable. B.) I have an unresolved lower-back injury and part of resolving my lower-back pain is for me to ride a longer bike that fits me better. C.) I'd prefer a 29''er. Nothing wrong with 27.5''. Pick a wheel size and be a dick about it. I don't need to sell this bike and I'd happily ride it for another two or even three years. I have an opportunity to move straight across to a Knolly with a longer reach and 29'' wheels. I'm not desperate so I won't be entertaining low-ball offers. The frame has normal wear and is in otherwise great condition. It was professionally serviced 5/17/20. Buyer pays shipping. Shock: FOX X2 155mm Fork: Rockshox Lyrik 160mm (upgradable to 170 or 180mm) Brakes: SRAM Guide R Wheels: Raceface Turbine R on Vault hubs Tires: Maxxis Minion 2.5 WideTrail Seatpost: FOX Transfer 150mm Drivetrain: SRAM X1 11speed w/ Raceface chainring Cockpit: Chromag Lynx Handlebars: Raceface 810mm

Chasing the Midnight Sun: A Trip to the Yukon with Dylan Sherrard, Jaime Hill and Claire Buchar
This brought me back so hard - straight chills and nostalgia all the way through from my two years working in Skagway and playing bikes in the Yukon. Literally my genesis and gateway into the sport I love. Thanks for the excellent production, helping me keep the dream alive of returning and living in Whitehorse some day :)

Bell Launches 3 New Helmets for 2018 - First Look
The usefulness to me is that I can commute and mountain bike with the same helmet. I usually leave the lower on during the whole ride, unless I'm faced with an extended climb without any trail riding on the way up. I too find that I don't want to deploy the chinbar when I get to the top, its just another step that I'd rather avoid by wearing it all the way up and down.

Bell Launches 3 New Helmets for 2018 - First Look
@mikekazimer: A mechanism to clip the chinbar onto would be clutch. It fits well on my Osprey backpack, but I've gotta remove my backpack, which adds a couple different steps to the process. If I'm using my hip-pack then the chinbar stays during the entire ride, which sorta defeats the purpose.
