I’d say it’s a mix of sweating excessively on climbs, to the point where it drips onto my glasses and I have to clean them before every descent, and living near the coast with heavy marine layers. Sometimes the fog is so dense you can’t ride downhill with glasses on, so you need a secure spot on your helmet to store them without them falling out.

The frame is chromoly and is equipped with specialized dirtjump specific cranks and wheels. The key upgrades I have done are a Shimano deore hydraulic brakes, atomlab stem, and renthal handlebars.
