What Would you Like to See in an Indoor Bike/Skate Park and Hangout Place?

by Robert Dixon
We are trying to get an indoor youth hang out center in Surrey, B.C. and we need to know what people would like to put in it. This can be almost anything (appropriate) as it is kind of our wish list.Currently we are looking at having
A youth hang out center running kind of like a swimming pool:

With a small drop in fee/seasons pass
A gym
Pool tables

An indoor skate/bike park
with garages that open up and merges with an outside park

Indoor:
Foam Pit
Wooden tables
Spines, Hips and flow section
Street section (rails, banks, ect)
Skate park section
Bowl
Shore area

Outdoor:
Dirt jumps
Step up Lines
Freeride stuff (step up lines, ect)
Shore
Skate park

Chill area/lounge overlooking the park
Couches
TV playing bike movies
Big stereo system/P.A. for contests
Concession/Caf
Bike Wash
Stage
Rentals (for out of town people)

Remember, this is a wish list, as long as it is with in a reasonable boundary, anything might be considered. What else would you like to see in an indoor Youth Center? Suggest in comments section:

i dont think rentals is a good idea unless we are making this thing huge....i mean what kind of person would come to surrey without a bike to ride an indoor skatepark...whistler dosn't even have rentals by the skatepark/dirt jump area, i think all we REALLY need to ask for is a place to practice your skills on a rainy day. but i would totaly be up for all this if the city lets us!

But we are thinking big right now, like huge wise. It is WAY better to think huge as the city sees it, then they tone it down to something we where more aiming for. And bike rentals are a good thing to have as what if people are coming from like the UK and can not bring there bike? Also skateboard rental.

We know all this stuff, we are looking more for other stuff like hang out stuff like the gym, lounge, pool tables. We basically have the bike/skate park down.

rentals for out of towners most likely sponsored by a close bike shop so you go to the bike shop to rent
