Red Bull should hurry up and make an alternative DH series so we can all stop watching the UCI bollocks. We need to see the likes of the denim destroyer on the big stage

Rampage originally was about pushing the limits of what could be ridden on a bike, Brendon’s line, the huge canyon in Isted and T-Mac’s run etc. now it’s just who can pack the most tricks into a slope style course built with shovels. Rebrand the event or fix it. RIPRAMPAGE

North America isn’t the only customer base for MTB…..and being a rowdy park bike longer reach is better for stability, I’m 5’10 on a 475 reach and it doesn’t feel big in the slightest, 4 years ago I was on 430mm reach Cannondale habit, and my current bike doesn’t feel huge compared to that. Steeper seat tubes and different bar and stem combos change the feel past the Geo numbers on a chart

Specialized Releases New P.Series Bikes
@BiNARYBiKE: I can see the logic in it, say you built it with a rear mech as a 4X bike or something for pumpy jumpy bike parks, you could whack a dropper on there and ride back up or ride to the trails. Not my cup of tea but I see what they are going for.

@quillankr: this guy gets it, if you look at say a DMR rhythm here In the UK this bike is the exact same cost and has better brakes and fork. Not to mention this bike will be sold by bike shops who you can take it back to when you break it, and you get lifetime warranty on the frame. My last DJ I bought in 2008 and it’s still going today so it’s not like you’re gonna have to change it anytime soon.
