@pyromaniac: When my kids were young (20+ years ago) we picked up a used Norco trailer to haul them around on. Couldn't flip that thing to save my soul. But they loved it when I tried.

Bought one pair of 510s at a LBS. Heel cup was gone in five or so rides. Gave them to my son, he only rides around town & doesn't care. Bought some RCs & I am happily riding them into my second year. No need to spend money on lousy QC/QA.

@iridedj: Endura is Euro sizing which is typically one size smaller than NA sizing. I'm an XL in most clothing but if I am in Europe I always size up to a 2XL or 3XL.

We usually ride in the late afternoon & early evening to avoid the summer heat & the crowds. Do the climb while the lights are not needed or can be on a low setting. Come down in the dark. Typically blue runs for some fun up above Alice Lake.

Hell, if there are only a few trees with no leaves on them on a clear night with a full moon, lights are almost an afterthought. Second hand sunlight is awesome.

TF has never really liked my phone. Once it goes dark the app shuts down. Totally useless that way. I only leave it on in case I need to find where a trail is located.

If nothing has changed for Shimano, their fishing line is the money maker. Bikes are just a nice sideline.
