Review: Yeti Goes Long With the Ultra-Adjustable LT
@ashmtb85: I was just sitting on the sh*tter and remembered the floating rear brake kit brand as 'Brake Therapy' in the UK(?).
Orange did spec a floating brake arm as an option on their 222 or 223 for a brief time.
They looked vulnerable in a crash tho.

@ashmtb85:
Sorry mate, I cannot remember who made the kit as it was so long ago, but I had a (2009?)Santacruz Bullit that had a very similar full single pivot layout to the Oranges at the time and saw a floating brake arm kit for Oranges in a magazine and was bummed they didn't have one for my Bullit which had a lot of Rr Wh chatter under brakes on choppy ground.
@chakaping:
The suspension action on my single pivot Bullit was good apart from the brake chatter which more of an audible/mental annoyance than anything. Does your Orange brake jack/chatter? If not maybe the super long Chainstay acts as a long lever arm to stop it occurring.
My G1 has a 455mm Rch/480mm CS/120mm bars(I'm 5'4")and steeps are awesome! Maybe the short front helps along with the 60-70% antirise(minimal brake influece)

Not sure if it means anything but most Oranges have a super flat leverage curve and highish 'brake jack' and aftermarket floating brake stays were a soltion of sorts for the 'jack'.

Interview: Lief Rodgers - The Privateer Plumber Making Waves at the Enduro World Cup
@mattbeer: I love me some tech nerdery, so any of the Yeti team riders that can give some introspective into the R and D of developing the new bike (in contrast to Prioritys race effort).
Or Elly Hoskins, esp going from hi pivot to low pivot and winning the overall for Canada last year.
Or ANY rider(s) or industry insider that can give some informed feedback on the current state of the sport and its future prospects, which deserves a whole article in itself!
Thanks in advance and muchly appreciated!

Interview: Lief Rodgers - The Privateer Plumber Making Waves at the Enduro World Cup
@mattbeer: The best way to build rider/brand profile, especially in the much needed World Enduro scene is via articles like this.
You simply cannot get this level of insight from ANY other platform.
Obviously you can't repeat this with ALL the key players but just a few select rider features will go a long way to whet the appetite for us that crave all things enduro.
Thanks Matt Beer and Pinkbike!

@jdejace:
Yeti my be catering for a possible 32" front wheeled Zombie apocalypse as well as triple crown/high axle to crown ht. single crown fork capability by going short headtube.
If we start to see the short HT appearing more often, it could become a 'trend' of sorts leaning into a broader market base, esp as model years get longer and model lineups get shorter.
Adaptability is the key to economy.
