Looks a bit too 'bike park'y (if thats a term?), but that middle section and last few jumps were slick.

Bike Check: Sam Blenkinsop's Norco Aurum HSP 29" - Crankworx Rotorua 2020
I'm a huge Norco fanboy and it makes me happy to see their bikes getting respect. They just solid and do the job without having to take out a mortgage to afford them. Will be interesting to see how they progress their DH bikes

To be fair, there is nothing wrong with only lifting once a week during the season for maintenance. At the end of the day, if you only lift to improve your mtb riding then theres no point sacrificing mtb riding for lifting which probably wont create any advancements you cant do in the off season.
Your body can only take so much per week, especially with a job and family thrown in.

Video: Tomas Slavik's Winning Run on the World's Longest Urban Downhill Track
Agreed, I dont mind urban downhill as a couple of one off events as it is fun to see the course setups but trying to make a competitive series out of it when stuff like this very easily happens is a mess.

It would be cool to have a longer multi day EWS round in the alps/andes/rockies/BC mountains or something, like a mtb version of a grand tour in cycling

Tahnee Seagrave Breaks Tibia and Fibula After Crashing on Dirt Jumps
@WAKIdesigns: To be fair, the points you mentioned are exactly why I was looking to get a dirt jumper. I have a lot of confidence riding gnarly downhills and have good fitness for enduros, but whenever I leave the ground it goes to crap very quickly. Im definitely going to pick up a DJ next paycheck

Tahnee Seagrave Breaks Tibia and Fibula After Crashing on Dirt Jumps
Damn, I was literally contemplating getting a dirt jump bike and this happens...
Get well soon Tahnee, it sucks seeing quality riders get injured before the season even begins. Especially in the womens field where the depth isn't as large as the mens
