@zmums: I'm going off the numbers you gave me for your Oso + 40mm spaces + 80mm bars which you mentioned earlier.
You are right. Bike setup is 100% preference. Ride whatever makes you happy!
My whole point is that bike geo (stack and chainstay length) does not grow proportionately and larger riders end up with wonky geo and have to compensate without realizing it. I had a really eye-opening experience when I substantially increased the bar height on my bike.

@zmums: I'm 6'0" and running an nearly identical bar height. I suspect you could go 1-2" higher.
Funny that you ride the Oso because there's a specific image of that bike that illustrates just how ridiculously low stack is on taller sizes. Note how the bars are basically the same height while the riders are well over a foot apart in height.

@KalkhoffKiller: but what was the stack height? If you don't have a tall enough stack, your weight will be too far forward.

At 6'3", I'm betting the bigger issue is your bike's stack isn't tall enough so you're forced to compensate with short chainstays.
