It’s actually pretty clever, anyone who has left their fork sitting for a while would note the bit of bushing play until the oil gets back to the bushing surfaces after a few cycles of the fork. I’d imagine the surface tension of the dimples might do a good job of keeping oil trapped between the stantion and bushing surface.

Reintroducing the LC2R name maybe, but the original was just a linkage driven single pivot . The heart of the VPP patent is 2 counter rotating short links which this clearly is as well. I find it very hard to believe that there isn’t someone at Santa Cruz legal dept with a stiffy right now. Time will tell.
