First Look: DT Swiss' New 1501 & 1700 Spline Wheelsets
To quote the article the Fair share Chargable rim replacement is "In addition to the lifetime warranty for the original verified owner on all material and workmanship defects." So failures due to materials and worksmanship will be sorted. It's only crash replacement they're charging for.

The new 1700's are getting the same rim as the Ally Spline 1's, same spokes as well so in theory they'll be just a tough, just with 350 hubs.

First Look: DT Swiss' New 240 EXP Hubs
Faster engagment always means a finer mechanism with smaller teeth and, all other things being equal, this is always going to be less reliable and less able to cope with stuff getting into the hub than chunkier but slower engageing systems. DT have clearly decided that 36 tooth is a the sweet sport for balancing reliabilty and engaement but at least they give you the option of fitting a 54-tooth whereas with most hubs you're stuck with what you get. I've run 54-tooth ratchets on my hardtail for years with no problems but I also tend to clean and regrease my ratchets a few times a year when my bike gets a 'proper' deep clean, it's an easy job but if you're more 'fit and forget' you may be better off with the 36 tooth version.

First Look: DT Swiss' New 240 EXP Hubs
You've always needed a DT tool to get at the inner drive side bearing on DT hubs, but these are very well protected so its pretty rare that you have to do it.

Review: DT Swiss F535 One Fork
Would have been better to test it against the Pike or the 34, DT very much pitch the F535 as a ride all day trail fork and I suspect those are its real competitors, not the 36. For it's intended use the review seems to suggest that it'd work very nicely indeed,

@poah: A a replacement calliper for those brakes however: £44 from Freewheel Not available on CRC, no ETA, Can't help but think this will be handy if you need spares as a distributor will carry far more depth of stock than most websites.
