Interview: Downhill Wheel Tech with DT Swiss
There was an issue with an early batch of EXP ratchets back in late 2020, unless you were unlucky enough to get one of those the EXP hubs seem solid so far.

Interview: Downhill Wheel Tech with Reynolds
They use the DT Swiss Sinc ones. Most racers are on standard steel though, race bikes get the snot jetwashed out of them so they go through bearings fairly quickly and running ceramic is quite the costly luxury for very marginal gains. .

The shock on Anne Tauber's bike is a de-branded DT Swiss R535, and very underrated bit of kit it is too.

18 Bikes Launches Updated No9 Hardtail
@tall-martin: Also, for tubing the 18 uses an Reynolds 853 front tringle and Deda Zero rear, they are exponentially more expensive to source than the basic 4130 the Hello Dave uses. The Hello Dave frame's currently listed at £799.99 on On-one's website, at that price I'd say actually the 18 is actually better value. https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FROOHD/on-one-hello-dave-frame

350 is a bit lighter, has better sealing and the current MTB ones come with a 36 tooth ratchet as standard instead of the 18 tooth that comes on these.

First Look: Rapha Releases New Line of MTB Apparel
Rapha are easy to mock with their brand ethos and oh so serious marketing but some of their kit is genuinely excellent, my merino classic Jersey outlasted my interest In road bikes and is still the most comfortable trad Jersey I own, truly top notch quality and design wise. Whether I'd drop $100 on a top that I may go headfirst into a bramble patch in on my next ride is another matter.
