@CustardCountry: whistler won't let you on the gondi with an ebike, as it could catch fire. So I simply pulled the battery and rode it analog. It was a good solution as my dh bike broke down.

Oh buddy, you're speaking the truth. I've ridden my ebike sans battery numerous times in whistler. It was so well balanced on the trails, and easily 10 lbs lighter.
A crank set on my devinci would be nice. A brose motor replacing my shimano would be glorious.

I hope they make them for Shimano motors. I've never had such a nightmare than dealing with attempting to repair my e8000 motor, and replacing the old battery. It sucks having so many nice components on a bike that rides so beautifully, which now suffers from a bricked driveline.
