Ratboy's and Loosedog's Santa Cruz Hightower LTs
2 sick bikes for 2 sick riders! Save your breathe on the negative comments and just droll and wish! Who cares about their settings--they aren't right for you because you cant ride like either of them and probably never will!! You really think Ratboy know what his exact settings are...they guy has mechanics build and set up everything. "jibberish..jisbberish...jibberish...she feels mint mate"

What Are Your MTB Pet Peeves? - Opinion
Constantly changing the standards is very frustrating! When you buy a $5,000+ plus bike and in 2 years its "obsolete" and you are left feeling like your once incredible steed is no impressive. The biggest recent change is the "boost" hub spacing movement. 12 x 142 and for so may years. No that wont do! We need 148mm now so we can run a fatter tire. Seems like the manufacturers could have figured this in to the design of the new frames to match the demand for fatter tires without having to add yet another new hub standard? I get that it forces people to buy the "latest and greatest" tech available. But what about the remaining 90% of us who are on a budget and cant afford a new bike every year?
