Video: Do You Really Need To Replace Your Helmet After Every Crash? Ben Cathro Investigates
I think German BIKE magazine included something along these lines in one of their (lab-supported) tests. Or at least MIPS vs. no MIPS.

Video: Do You Really Need To Replace Your Helmet After Every Crash? Ben Cathro Investigates
The German Bike magazine regularly includes lab tests in their parts and equipment tests and publishes the data, including for helmets: https://www.bike-magazin.de/ausruestung/fahrradhelme/fahrradhelme-im-crash-test-19-helme-fuer-trail-und-tour-im-vergleich/ Also for bars (testing to failure), forks (lab-measured spring characteristics, at least), tires (rolling resistance, puncture resistance), etc. I like it and use it whenever I buy something, but the somewhat nerdy "German engineering approach" is often made fun of in this forum...

First Look: Fair Bicycle's Drop Best Offset Saddle Clamp is Universally Compatible
@Muckal: A good application could be new-ish bikes that already had some of the longer-lower-slacker treatment but without the steeper seat tube angle. The first generation YT Jeffsy from 2016 is an example, again particularly for long-legged riders who don't mind the still-moderate reach that much, or can otherwise upsize without running into seat tube length / standover issues.

Video: Benoit Coulanges Reflects on his Les Gets World Cup Victory in 'Until The Line II'
What makes watching DH so special for me, apart from the incredible skills and suspense, is that athletes seem and can be seen so candid, relatable and emotional, even vulnerable. And that this impression is not artificially created, as in many TV shows, but simply comes from what you see in the finish area, and from the frank interviews they give. And then the camaraderie, the excitement and compassion in the field - when all the other racers freak out with Coulanges because they know what a happy feeling it must be to overcome the pressure, the doubt, the fear and finally get rewarded (similarly with Pierron, Iles, Kolb, Höll and others when they won first home WCs or other races important to them, or Macdonald after his return). Nationalities, teams and rivalry don't matter, at least for a moment.

Tarmo Ryynanen 32nd - super impressive! ...and showing yet again #Tarmogotrobbed... (although I only noticed him due to the academy, to be honest, as did many others I guess - so it did benefit him after all)
