Ibis Releases New 130mm Ripley
@notthatfast: a tall boy is something I would consider replacing my optic with eventually. I have a Megatower and love it, and a tall boy seems great but I’m my head it’s marginally more XC focused than my optic. I could be wrong about that though

Ibis Releases New 130mm Ripley
The Ripley is the new (old) Norco Optic. As someone who has a 2023 Optic (2019-2023 version) I was just speaking yesterday to a friend about how few bikes fit into what I would consider the “mini enduro” category. What I want out of my short travel bike, is to be able to take care of things when my big bike is broken, and still pedal well enough that the off XC race doesn’t feel stupid. This bike seems to fit that category perfectly, which may be a niche, but I hope this category becomes more popular

Ibis Releases New 130mm Ripley
@src248: as someone who’s 6’6” with a 6’9.5” wingspan, I would love to try the 545 reach but I still feel it would be way to much for me. I’m currently riding the biggest bike I’ve owned at 517mm reach. I’ve tried the new stumpies at 530mm which felt good, but I preferred the 500mm stumpy for a short travel bike. 545 is HUGE for a short travel bike, but with that being said more options is never bad. I’m just on team 510-525 reach for the biggest size
