Spotted: New Trek Slash
@TylerG96: you needed the AXS reverb. Or the bike yoke. Super easy to drop.

Bike Check: Myriam Nicole's Commencal Supreme Mullet
Bigger rotors allow for better heat management, modulation, and ultimately more stopping power. But what about bike geometry? When the front brake is applied it tends to cause the front fork to compress, steepening the head angle. That creates a different handling bike. Applying the rear brake can change things in the rear, but not as pronounced as the front. I think a larger rotor on the rear is a great solution. There is only so much front brake you can apply before the fork compresses, or the front wheel locks up. Both of those situations can cause a bad day. If you go heavy on the rear brake, I think the rear tends to squat, depending on the suspension design, and/or the rear wheel can lock up. When the rear wheel locks up that's called drifting. Drifting is cool.

Shimano Redesigns Value XC Shoes and Upgrades Enduro Shoe Rubber
I wore Shimano shoes for years. Last time I checked they stopped offering half sizes. I couldn’t get a good fit with the whole sizes. 44 or 45 and nothing in between. Bye bye Shimano shoes.

Interview: SRAM CEO Ken Lousberg on Engineering, Maternity Leave, Equal Pay & More
"How can we come together as an industry and create equality in it?" Why does there have to be equality in this industry? It's the bike industry. I think it's rad that there are more and more female riders. It's good for the the bike industry. It sells more bikes, which is what bike makers and component makers want to do. But equality? What difference does that make here?

Norco Bicycles Announces Sight VLT 29 eMTB
Isn't it simply trunion mount, turned inline with the frame, and flipped upside down? I can't visualize how that shock is loaded any different than when mounted in a typical fashion with this horst type design. The loading looks to be right down through the shock with no side loading. But I'm not an engineer. I only know about my Specialized Enduro that ate Cane Creek shocks for a while until they Cane creek beefed up some bushings. That suspension design seemed to cause some "side loading" to the shock.

I noticed this setup, only because the specs say Rock Shox Super Deluxe, but looking at the photo you can't see the reservoir. I wonder if it is an issue not with the water bottle, but rather the compression? The Trek Rail has the Rock Shox Deluxe, but no Supers with the reservoir. Trek uses a custom Deluxe with a small reservoir near the top of the shock, along with their re:Acktiv through shaft. I wonder if that reservoir on the VLT will be hitting the inside leg when riding? Other than that question, for me, this bike looks like the bike to beat in the category in terms of price, specs, latest geometry.
