Review: The Airdrop Edit MX - No Frills, All Thrills
Nice bike! At 5’4” I’m certain that a 628.6mm stack frame with a 30mm rise bar is too high for the test rider. I’m 5’7” and ride a 631mm stack frame with a 0mm rise bar. In a seated position that puts my bars at the same height as my saddle. I see a lot of small riders on 29” enduro bikes with the bars way above extended saddle height and a lot of tall riders with the bars way above saddle height. Still wonder why bikes aren’t just scaled proportionally through the sizes… Anyone have an answer to that?

Frameset is selling for $1825 in Europe. Not a lot of decent framesets around below that price…

@tempmeister: generally looks like the connection of the rear triangle to the main frame is rather narrow hence flexy…

Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
@iforte312: Does anyone know by how much reach should increase for every 10mm increase in bar height/stack? I‘ve seen numbers for spacers but that‘s different since it actually reduces reach. I’m thinking about the effect described in the post above.

Pinkbike Poll: Riser Bar or Extra Spacers Under the Stem?
@shredddr: Can the reduction in reach by spacers be countered with a longer stem? Also wondering if a higher bar might also reduce reach if it is rolled/ angled towards the rider? (Not sure if there is a different name for this type „effective reach“ vs „frame reach“ which is normally listed.)
