2025 Loudenvielle DH World Cup Timed Training Results
@Mugen: they changed it between the last round and now. New formula allows you to stack your team a bit better. Could easily pick highest price male and female rider and still have a couple good contenders.

What Exactly Is "Outdated" Mountain Bike Geometry?
My fleet is a 2015 Process 134 (27.5") and 2013 Session (26") and I have zero issues keeping up to my modern-bike-owning crew. I have a sick time out there and don't feel held back. If money were no object, I would replace the Session with some kind of modern enduro/AM rig, but the 134 would stay in the fleet for trail/XC rides. That thing is fun af and I just love riding it.

Video: Breaking Down the Hidden Challenges in Les Gets | Inside the Tape with Ben Cathro
I'll go out on a sturdy limb and say it wouldn't help much. Full sun puts out roughly 3000-5000 lumens per square foot, so you're going to need an insanely powerful light to make any kind of meaningful difference in the shadows.
Looooose math: let's say you want to see 12ft of a berm, 3ft wide, so 36sq/ft....you'd need 144,000 lumen light (using the mid-range of 4000L/sq/ft) to just match the light produced by the sun.
So yeah, probably better to just let er buck and pray you remember as many cheeky roots as you can.
