Video: Friday Fails #297
#6 looked really bad. In my experience trees don't tend to get out of the way.

It's coming. Back in the day no thought you could "jailbreak" a cell phone.

Video: Are E-Bikes For REAL Mountain Bikers?
I'm 54 and just bought another bike that's too big for my local trails (Specialized Enduro). I know some guys my age or older with injuries or health issues and I get the ebike thing for them. I also had a buddy recently injuried who had access to an ebike for recovery and now he is back on his regular ride. The problem I have with them is some of the pesonalities that come along with them. Like riders who don't understand basic trail etiquette, I literally had one run into me while climbing and not even acknowledging it and then turning to his kid on a matching ebike and saying "come on let's go". I also was talking to a local bike shop whose mechanic told me that the motorcycle shop down the road was able sell their brand (Specialized) of bike but just the ebike variety and then told the customers "for service just go over to that bike shop because we don't know anything about bicycles." Last week a train of about a dozen ebikers in full moto outfits (full face, chest protectors, etc - complete overkill for trail system we were riding) approached our group head on and some of them just struggled with basic yield or share the trail techniques. Afterwards I met some of them in the parklot and they were nice enough folks but kinda clueless. But then I run into this nice couple in their 70s fairly regulary and I like them and their ebikes clearly extend their ability to enjoy the sport. I am just concerned about trial access issues that might result from bad behavior as we share alot of our trails with hikers and equistrians.
