Jun 5, 2016Mongoose Boot'r Team 8" DH freeride
$1000 USDI'm selling my DH bike. If you are interested let me know. 2009 Mongoose Boot'r 8" travel, all top of the line components. Ready to roll! Reduced price $1,000 (Would possibly consider trade for dirt bike but nothing older than 2004)
This bike is solid. Pedals really well for a Downhill rig due to their Freedrive suspension design. The elixir cr 8" hydraulic disc brakes are probably the best functioning brakes I've ever used. (I actually really want to keep the brakes for a different bike but I don't have decent ones to replace them with). Suspension is amazing! Very plush and supple, lots of adjustable features. This frame is a size Medium. Over all the ride quality is amazing, everything you want in a downhill/freeride bike. The components are very high end and make all the difference in the way the bike functions. Most $4000 bikes don't come with quite as nice parts specs. Bike is in great shape and everything functions as it should. Some scuffs, cable rub and paint chips. No dents. Suspension is currently set up for 175 lb rider. Comes with extra derailleur hanger.
My bike is exactly the same as the one in this video except my seat and rear tire and pedals are different. I can give you a detailed parts spec list if you ask. Or just take a close look at the pictures.

Pinkbike Poll - Adjustable Geometry
I'm undecided.... but what I would like to see is a well designed 4" travel DJ bike that had adjustable travel up to 6" so I wouldn't need to bring 2 bikes wherever I go. It would be nice to hit the trails and then go hit the dirt jumps with out having to pack 2 bikes in the car and then swapping them at some point all the while your 2nd bike is waiting to get stolen out the back of your rig. It would have to be very easy to adjust though.
