Video: Pinkbike's Videographers Tackle the Champéry DH World Championships Track
The track is very rideable but mentally so scary its unbelievable. If you have never done something that steep on the bike its full panic mode. But once you do ride it down without crashing you understand how to do it ... and also get a workout like hell. Oh and bring a spare pair of brake pads.

I consider myself a solid rider and i was happy I made it down ( even the last part was opened at the time ) without crashing
Cant even imagine how good Jackson and others are to ride it at that pace... and it being wet...

@privateer-wheels: my experience is simply and thats with quite expensive pair of Newmen wheels - meant and also used on ebikes ... that when i take them for a day to a rough bikepark/downhill they literally fall apart and have to be all tensioned after 1 day ( Even after bikeshop later tensioned and glued them ).
Now switched to FR541 32h and those even older versions such as FR560 i never had to touch for a year even.

@andrewbmxmtb: the exact issue with 28 spoke rear wheel is reliability and endurance where even slight use will slowly screw up the wheel and honstly as a non mechanic person with no tension meter i am not checking on my wheel after every bike ride. So yeah they do work and they are lighter but ... at a cost.

Is it just me tho or any Sub 32 spoke rear wheels just Suck ?
Maybe front is ok but the back one is just Death Sentence.
