First Ride: Specialized Epic 9 - Unapologetically Race-Focused
Nice bike, unjustified pricing for the building kits, the top of the line should be around 12 K $/€

First Ride: Specialized Epic 9 - Unapologetically Race-Focused
The new one is 60 gr lighter, including the shock!!! which means probably 300 gr lighter, that´s a cracy difference.

Race Face Releases Era SL Carbon Cranks - 422g and a Lifetime Warranty
After the NEXT cranks era, I´m really cautios about these cranks quality. Many issues with pedal threads. In Spain you were able to buy them cheaper than XT cranksets...crazy stuff!!

Video: Wall Ride Wipeout & Race Highlights | Story Of The Race with Ben Cathro
It´s clrearly an issue with track design, it´s not only dangerous becaus it´s hard to land, but also, because full grown Men +bike could be more than 100 kg impacting the wood, there is a risk that the wall itself may crumble. Not the best idea, the jump should be aiming for landing before the turn in best case scenario, previosu design of jump was better. You can tray to have double or triple jumps that add this kind of tricky (go big or go smooth...) situation but this one is pure bad design cause it may be dangerous even if the rider does everything perfect.

Spotted: Specialized's New XC Race Bike
@hamncheez: It is also pretty unique, which could be key for a top brand even if its not something 100% proven to be better. I really think the Epic Evo, Orbea Oiz, Megamo Track...are ther right design for light XC weapon right now, until someone delivers something else. For very tricky tracks maybe the likes of the new BMC or other virtual pivot may be better.

@lukazy: because shimano chains only works great with shimano cassette. The durability may be an issue with non-shimano components.

Red Panda Release the Lobster Upgrade Kit That's Claimed to Improve the Reliability of Shimano Brakes
I always had issues with Sram brakes hard to solve, the wandering point is usally fixed after a good bleed if the brake is not damaged.
