@wyorider: I am like this with Conti tires. EVERY one I’ve ever tried — mtb or road — has buggered me quickly………but it’s been at least 15 years.

Mountain Bikes From the Past 7 Years That We'd Still Happily Ride

Generation 3 of the Top Fuel. So much better than the current spindly version. I’m still a bit PO’d at the shop that tipped mine over into a steel cabinet and cracked the frame. But I’ve moved on to an even better Pivot Mach 4 SL. Hell, it’s so good that I’d like to make my longer travel trail bike a Pivot, except Superboost.

I’m no Canyon or DTC fan in general but it’s worth noting that the CFR6 complete bike costs less than my wonderful but obviously overpriced Mach 4 SL.
