You can just buy both if you want, what is the difference? This way you don't need to buy unnecessary tools if for instance you already have a bearing puller set and vice versa.

More outside sponsors means more money in sport, more money means more races. More races more fun. Why is that a bad thing?

Just saying what a world cup racer told me; the new rotors can vibrate a bit under extremly heavy braking, which can cause uneven braking power. This is probably unnoticable by 99% of the riders.

Yes, code calipers give slightly more power due to piston size. And he's using G2s because they are the most heavy duty and have the most consistent performance under heavy braking.
