Pinkbike Poll: Do You Like the Bike Industry's Product Release Schedule?
Release schedule doesn't matter to me. I only buy stuff when it's out of date and on deep clearance.
Recent example, my last purchase (about a week ago) was a 2024 Bomber Z1 fork for $289.

You got me curious, so I did the math. According to Trailforks the track is 1 mile long. At their speeds 0.3 seconds equals 14 feet.
The closest men's finish, between position 31 and 32, 0.012 seconds, equals about 6 3/4 inches.
