United Wheels 'Pausing' Operations at Niner Bikes
It’s the right move. I haven’t seen anyone buy a new Niner in the last 5 years at least. It’s definitely sad to see a legacy brand like this go under(paused?), but I don’t think they were selling bikes.

Specialized Releases Alloy Levo R - Shaves $2,000 Off the Price Tag
I first thought wow what a good deal 2k off is pretty good. I now know that it’s still wildly overpriced and needs another 2k off. Also really brand manager!? Motives? The Maven is right there. That’s not even low hanging fruit, its been picked, transported, sold, and is in a bowl at the Morgan hill hq

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Pinkbike Editors Imagine the Best Sub $5,000 Bike
@dejock: I've done fork swapping like that on the Phantom I owned. I never felt any less energy out of the bike with a larger 140mm Bomber Z1 vs the MRP Ribbon and Fox 34 I had in 130. Just more noodley. I'd say run the Pike full time and swap wheels when needed. That bike wants to ride so hard. The weight difference will make no notable difference, but your body will thank you when the pike saves you were the sid wouldn't.
