@crawfishoo: ya, it feels, like a kind of giving high five for participation when you climb the hill on an ebike as a kid. opposite to an actual well deserved high five and the big hug if the kid made it to the top even halfway pushing up the hill. which is a great achievement then rewarded well-earned downhill run. I have a different approach. Whenever I am cycling with my 8 yo daughter (since she was three) i am taking a hardtail, so I can feel all the difference again. and if she is done, we have a tow rope, and I am the engine.
